The Charade of Complexity (No Apologies)

Does it feel like things are so darn difficult in your business? Have a sticking point that feels complex, heavy, and hard to solve? You may be engaging in the charade of complexity. It is like a merry-go-round for your ego where you make things more difficult than they need to be. I know that I could win a medal for how often and how difficult I sometimes make things for myself. But as I wrote about in my blog post “The Solution is Always Simple”, the elegant, graceful, and ease-filled way is the path out of the maze.
Think of something that has you stuck, procrastinating, or befuddled. Now think of the solution that seems so easy as to be almost laughable. Chances are there is some (if not all) of the truth in that solution. So go zen on yourself, drop the facade of complexity, and move to the simple solution you seek.
